Ebrima O. Jallow was re-elected president of the National Livestock Owners Association (NaLOA) of The Gambia during the association’s recent national congress held at Jenoi in Lower River Region.

The in-coming executive and his team are to steer the affairs of the association for the next five years.

Shortly after his re-election, Jallow thanked the association’s members for the trust and confidence reposed in them.

The association, he added, in the past registered tremendous achievements due to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and partners.

To that end, he called on all to support the development of the livestock sector in the country, saying the sector is an important pillar in any country’s development.

He informed that his executive’s re-election into their respective positions indicates that their efforts are recognised by members of the association.
